SFB uses OpenAI's advanced GPT-4 technology to create personalized noir detective stories. The AI considers your previous choices, character development, and story context to generate unique narrative content that responds to your decisions. Every playthrough is different, creating a truly personalized experience.
What are Sanity Credits and how do they work?
Sanity Credits are our transparent pricing system. You purchase credits that are consumed based on the actual computational cost of generating your personalized story content. This ensures fair pricing - you only pay for the AI processing you use. Credits don't expire and unused credits remain in your account.
Can I play without an internet connection?
An internet connection is required for generating new story content since the AI processing happens in the cloud. However, you can review your story history and previously generated content offline. We recommend playing with a stable internet connection for the best experience.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Your credit purchases are tied to your account, not your device. Simply log in with the same account credentials on your new device, and your credit balance will be automatically restored. If you experience issues, contact our support team with your account details.
Why did my story generation fail?
Story generation can occasionally fail due to network issues, server maintenance, or content filtering. Don't worry - failed generations are automatically refunded, and no credits are deducted for unsuccessful attempts. Try again, and if problems persist, contact support.
